About Jessica

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) under the supervision of Rachel Sturgeon, M.A., RP, CCC.

On my journey to becoming a professional therapist I’ve worked for over 20 years in the social services field, where I have had the privilege of working with individuals and families struggling with mental health, trauma, and addiction. Along this journey, I’ve experienced many of life’s joys and sorrows, both personally and professionally, which has enabled me to become more empathic, compassionate, and authentic.

My mission is to empower individuals to unveil and embrace their authentic selves, allowing them to flourish and thrive. I believe that deep within each person lies a unique and extraordinary essence, often hidden beneath layers of societal expectations and self-doubt. With a compassionate and person-centered approach, I create a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their inner desires, express their true thoughts and emotions, and shed the masks they may have worn for far too long. I encourage self-discovery, self-acceptance, and the development of a strong sense of identity. My goal is to guide individuals towards self-revelation and authenticity, to enable you to step confidently into your own power and create a meaningful and fulfilling life. It is my greatest joy to witness individuals discovering and unleashing the incredible potential that has always resided within, allowing you to truly thrive.

“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”
